On July 30, 2012, “Bear River Storage” broke ground on the 5 1/2 acre plot of ground that had been
owned and affectionately named the “Big Pasture” for well over 60 years by Milton & Mildred Johnson,
together with their 6 children, Sharlene, Donna, Fred, Debbie, Gay and Tracy. “Milt” enjoyed riding his
many horses with his wife and children, and housed his horses on this very piece of ground during his
children’s young lives. The property stayed in the family until 2012, when their daughter Debbie, and her
husband Dix decided to act on her father and son’s dream of one day building a state-of- the-art storage
facility in that prime location in Provo, Utah.
A father and grandson’s dream is coming alive and is scheduled to open its doors in early spring of 2013.
With the Sorensen’s son’s knowledge and background in storage facilities, we have thought of everything
to make our customer’s experience at “Bear River” a really unique and great one!
Phase I of our project will offer 365 units, together with 102 of those units being climate controlled
and range in size from 5X5 to 20X50. Each unit will have its own security system, together with security
cameras positioned strategically throughout the property and monitored by our on-site manager for your
added security and convenience. The northern secured 3 acres of our property will house your RV, ATV,
Boat, construction items, or anything else you can think of.
Bear River Storage is proud to announce they will be home to “Coast to Coast,” manufacturer of the
nation’s most reputable portable garage systems, as well as a dealer for the ever popular and familiar
“U-Haul” Company.
Inside the office itself will be a private conference room, offered for a minimal fee to our customer’s to
hold your next important meeting that boasts a 18th century conference table with matching antique
buffet, together with a kitchenette and all the latest computer and projection capabilities. An added and
most unusual perk is our offering of onsite mailbox rentals, as well as all the usual products you might
expect you’ll need to store and protect your items.

Clean, Secure, Easy to Use
The facility is clean and I feel comfortable leaving my stuff there. It’s secure and out of town so I’m not worried about anything being stolen, but not too far out of the way so I can reach it easily if I need to get something from my storage unit. Great prices too.
